Bigger In Texas

A group of friends and I got season passes to the local theme park, and we decided to ride my favorite ride from when I was a child. We were the only adults in line without children. Even the line was so narrow I felt. I had to turn sideways to get through.

Back in my younger years, it was called the Texas Tornado but now it is the Gunslinger, fully equipped with two Texas sized revolvers. It is a simple swing ride that spins in a gentle, wide circle.

That trip in memory lane was a good one. Sometimes, you just have to be a kid forever.
