Prayer

This is an extraordinary piece of work made by the artist Kader Attia and installed at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea. It's called 'Ghost' and is a room full of Moslem women at prayer sculpted from aluminium foil. From the back they live and breathe, you can see their posture, conversation, bone structure even. From the front their hollow veils resemble Eduard Munch's 'Scream'.
