Giraffe

This was taken on the way from Tsavo East to the coast - having not seen anything much bigger than small birds and lizards, we suddenly saw giraffe, elephants, impala, more elephants.... the change to grassland meant that there were all sorts of plains game just there to be photographed.

Apologies to Noel, who was driving, and had to keep stopping just so I could take more photos... and yes, I do know that most of them will be nothing more than a speck on a green background that i can point at and say 'look - that was an elephant!!'', but hey, if you can't behave like a tourist when on safari, when can you?
