Ettrick

Good walk up from Ettrick valley, along the ridge and back down. It's a really lovely place especially down by the river where there are lots of new trees planted and wildflowers growing. Tried out walking poles properly for the first time. I think they helped but hard to say unless I did the exact same walk without them to compare. Certainly didn't feel the downhill in my knees so much.
