Trainset playtime

The three 'demics went off to Ikea this morning. Charley with his aches, Steve with his cold, and hop-along-me. My knee and shoulder are having an off week. Ben was almost tempted but chose to stay and play with Grandad. So off we went, spent the smallest amount ever from one of our Ikea trips (we were after a highchair to leave at mum and dad's house, and were tempted by only a very few other bits and bobs), had lunch (Charley had fish and peas, and squirted juice all over himself more than once and quite deliberately!) and escaped. Charley fell asleep on the way back so we called ahead to tell Ben to be ready, picked them up and headed off to Jodrell Bank!

On the way up here the satnav had repeatedly tried to get us to leave the M6 and eventually we thought why not? especially as we knew the area well enough by this point. We followed where it suggested and ended up going past Jodrell. I don't recall ever having been there before although I must've, hence why we decided on a trip up there today! It's still pretty amazing and very interesting, even if those who remember what it used to be like (Steve and his mum) were a bit disappointed that it has been vastly reduced since they last came.

Charley slept the whole way round, and Ben was fascinated with it all! And I forgot to take any pictures again...

This evening I've been ploughing through my old iPhoto library. Re-naming all the folders, grouping things together. I have three days left to gather all the photos I want for Charley's 1st Year photobook :-/ It's been pretty cool looking back though :)
