Pinocchio
Christmas Eve seemed like a good time to start feeling festive with a trip to see Pinocchio at the Bury Met. The voice of Pinocchio was done by a young lad sat near the edge of the stage, and he did amazingly well, especially given the massive amount of lines he had to remember.
Pinocchio was operated by the puppeteer kneeling down on the stage, who had to not only move the puppet, but also sync it up with the audio from the other side of the stage - not an easy job I'm guessing!
At the end when the puppet becomes a real boy, the young actor came onto the stage to replace the wooden Pinocchio for the last scene.
