Popeye

A long story but .....

We chose to intervene in nature and gave a feral kitten a small chance of survival.

Popeye is nearly 6 weeks old, feral and obviously had a HUGE problem with his right eye. We eventually caught him and took him to a vet in Pollença. He operated this evening to remove his right eye!

We're now at the beginning of a journey, of which, the outcome is unknown.

Tomorrow we'll try and reintroduce him back to his Mum and siblings.....

POPEYE UPDATE:-

After an undisturbed, peaceful night, we opened the utility door to check on Popeye. After an initial shock, as we couldn't find him, we discovered him behind the vaccum. He was feisty (a good sign). I managed to catch him as his mummy and siblings were outside enjoying their breakfast. Good News, he's been accepted back into his family and currently playing with his brothers and sisters (there are six kittens in the litter) in the garden. A good result!
