Laughing Kookaburra

I'm getting used to the cycle ride to the office now -- I went back and forth three times today! First to work, then down to the zoo and back for lunch, then to the dentist and back in the afternoon, and then home again. And, work was definitely more productive. I'm liking it.

As we have a family pass to the zoo, I decided it would be a nice place to go for lunch, and today I learned a bit about West African giant snails form one of the keepers (they use their sense of smell to hone in on specific plants they like to eat), and then took a few photos of the macaws and the kookaburras.

The builders are essentially done, finally! Everything works and is finished, apart from the ceiling light, which they forgot, and will install on Tuesday. So, this weekend, I'll finish painting and putting in the baseboard trim.
