Human Energy

Marcos and Daniele (centre shot) are pure positive energy! They combine with the (left to right) strength of purpose and fun of Birna from Iceland , the wisdom of Alex from Ukraine who once had to flee his homeland, the openness of Abdullsalam from Saudi and the tenderness of Kennedy from India (missing from the shot) to make a fantastic executive circle at IESE. This was their graduation day and our circle has reached new heights with a very deep commitment to keep it going for the rest of their lives . . . I will step aside after the next virtual session.

Daniele (right in the thumbnail) was moved to write a poem which he sent to me this morning . . . what better gratification could one have! He gave me permission to share it more widely.

Hi Alan,
We went to Mirò Meseum. White painting with a blu hole. Then, yesterday, the session with you. And the sense of friendship with the others collegues. Then, I wrote these words.....
I want to share with you. You are the architect of this poem...

Just like a lonely cloud point
Reflected in the never ending waves,
Tireless workers of hopeless drops.

From many different oceans
Fast dreaming boats,
Oriented to the same blu star,

Left behind the stable ground
They met each other
In the middle of nowhere

To build a strong turbine,
A wheel of wind
flipped the grey sky.

Finally
A sense of deep relief
A taste of gratitude
A vibrant prospective

Of challenge
Of joy
Of happiness

Of luck
