Community Is Everything

Today's blip is some of the wonderful Events Committee who organised this evening's staff party, where we toasted the end of another fantastic year and said sayonara to some inestimable staff members. As one leaver said so eloquently, "Community is everything, and the people around you are the most precious thing in your life." She could have been a high-flyer as an accountant, but she preferred to pursue a lowlier profession in education. I know exactly what she means, and she was absolutely right when she said that it will be very difficult to find a stronger, more committed community than the one which exists at our school. I feel so blessed to play a small part in it's magic make up.
