Loft Clearout

We were up early doors to hit the John Lewis sale this morning, which accidentally led to me hitting all the other sales and buying a new Superdry jacket which wasn't in the sale ("we don't do sales").

This set us up for helping the boyfriend's mother clear out her attic in preparation for new insulation. The strong boys (pictured here) did most of the heavy lifting, in between dressing up in their new found hats/scarves/fur coats, but I think the rest of us did our fair share of sorting, filtering and removing to the skip. Came away with a old typewriter, candlestick, lace tablecloths and some nice cushion covers.

As our treat, we then got a delicious curry and sat drinking some beers at the boyfriend's uncle's in Dalgety Bay.
