So much water!

At Loch Lomond for great late lunch at the oak tree inn at Balmaha. Then a blustery walk along the loch side near Rowardenan. Lots of flooding. This tree is one we normally walk in front of to the left of the picture! With Loch Lomond being an enclosed Loch imagine how much extra water is required to raise the level that much over its huge area. It's mind boggling. Am about to go to sleep in our new bed with new mattress. Our old one , bed not mattress!,has lasted 22 years but broke on Boxing Day. We were sitting on it and Dileas decided to join us. Crack and we all fell down. It was an old Victorian type pine bed with big head and foot boards and we have always loved it. However it's nice to have a new one and we've gone for minimalist modern
