Vancouver

Had a wander round Vancouver this morning. didn’t feel like doing much as we were awake very early. Time difference thing. We had complimentary tickets for the Vancouver lookout so went there then we walked to the waterfront and then had lunch and back towards the hotel. Our room overlooks the Christchurch Cathedral so we decided to visit. It is very beautiful inside, seethe extras. Then back to the hotel for afternoon tea and to check in with the tour people for the train tomorrow.
When we arrived at the hotel yesterday afternoon our room was not ready. We just asked where we could get a coffee whilst we waited and were given complimentary coffees. When we went back to concierge an hour and a half later they had up graded us to a Gold Suit. It is rather nice. Coffee on tap all day, free breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés early evening. All complimentary.
