Meet my nemesis!

My favourite place to walk Maisie these days is a disused council plant nursery which is now very overgrown and full of wildlife of all sorts.

There's a very vocal green woodpecker there. He calls constantly and as soon as I get anywhere near him he flies off and starts calling again.

Today he decided it would be funny to fly into the tree right next to where I was standing - but hide in and amongst the branches!

Curse you, green woodpecker - one day I'll get you!
