Callbox of the wild
In the grounds of Gloucester Royal hospital. Ivy grows thick, its tendrils curling ever upwards. How long before it swallows the phone?
We went to see about Steve's hip replacement. It may be happening very soon. The health check was thorough, and I was able to ask some questions about what will happen after the hospital stay. Afterwards I wanted to go somewhere for a coffee, so we ended up on the balcony of Sainsbury's cafe, overlooking the canal. Venice it ain't, (but I was there three weeks ago). Most important of all, it wasn't raining. We were able to discuss the serious amount of ready meals we'll need to buy ( because I won't be around every single day to cook meals from scratch)and to be thankful that we have a microwave.
We missed the unloading time for the market in Stroud, so well have do it tomorrow morning, but it was worth it to have a relaxing drive home and to be able to sit in the evening sunshine eating g-f pizza and watching the film about Eddie the Eagle Edwards, the UKs first Olympic ski jumper.
