Goodbye June.

Sad day today as we said our farewells to a dear friend. June was a wonderful warm person who always put others first. She is going to be missed by many.

Today was also the first anniversary of my sister's funeral, and she, like June was born on the 21st June. Really strange that they both had their funerals the day before their birthday. And both taken so fast after diagnosis (About 12 weeks).

Love the picture on her Order of Service - Holding a glass of wine! She was very social and always so 'bubbly'. She arrived at the crematorium in a horse drawn carriage. I felt a bit wrong taking a quick snap of it (Extra) but I noticed others doing it and it is lovely to have the memory. I know she wouldn't have minded and the horses were beautiful.
