Lucy, at long last, has decided to move home and on Wednesday had a successful interview at my old school for a part time teacher (details still to be sorted). Mr C and I are so pleased she has made this decision, it won’t be easy but it means we can support her here rather than trying to at a distance.

But what we didn’t anticipate was her announcement that she had to move out of her flat this weekend so we are off tomorrow (last Saturday) to bring her stuff back.

We were meant to be going over to see J & S tomorrow and take S’s belated birthday pressie (blipped) but as we had to cancel they suggested we popped over this evening and we got a takeaway. it’s always lovely to see them and they are always supportive.
