Snake
We bought this aboriginal painting in Darwin, Australia in 2016, forgot about it and only recently discovered it hidden under the sofa. It's now in its rightful place on the sitting room wall. Sarah and I thought the work of native Australians absolutely stunning, as can be seen in Darwin's Museum and Art Gallery, making a major contribution to World Art. Sadly the artists don't always see the true financial rewards for their paintings, often bought for pennies by the dealers from the artists, and sold on with huge mark ups.
A big thank you for all your birthday wishes of 19th June - I hadn't wanted to make a big thing of it, apart from the excuse to include the link to Simon and Garfunkel's Old Friends
