The location where the temporary houses are being built that we will move into at the end of the year, if everything goes according to plan. Our own house will be taken down then and a new, (hopefully) earthquake-proof, house will be built in its place. Not just for our house, but for a total of 30 houses in our street.

By the end of next year, we will move into that new house, again if everything is going as planned. It would be the first time things are going according to plan in this nightmare project, though.

To end with a positive note: after yesterday’s 5km walk, I managed a 6.7km walk today. Yay me!
