Tin Mines at Botallack

Today we walked at Botallack and then went to Geevor, where you can actually do an underground tour of an old tin mine. It was fascinating. The guide actually worked in a mine there during the 70's and 80's so he was really good at explaining how things changed from what it was like in the 1700s.

Then we went to a jewellers and A bought me some jewellery that incorporates cornish tin.

After that we drove to Fistral Bay to our beautiful hotel. After dinner we walked up to the tip of the little headland and sat and watched the sunset.
