Fathers Day

I came down with Roger’s cold yesterday, and had a really bad night, so I had a lie in this morning, while Roger had to get up early to meet Jen at Manchester airport at about 8.15. Jen decided to go to bed for a nap - she had flown from Salt Lake City with a connection in Las Vegas - and Roger and Laura went to church. Once I got up, had a shower and had a bit of breakfast, I began to feel a bit more human again! Jen surfaced in time for a delicious Sunday lunch prepared by Janet and John, with three Dads present - Roger’s Dad, John’s Dad, and of course Roger! Later in the afternoon, the younger generations went for a rather muddy walk in the countryside. A happy family day!
