A rainy start

This is the Pipe and Glass. We has a fabulous meal last night and stayed over in one of their beautiful rooms. We've eaten there before but this was the first time we stopped afterwards. A bit more sunshine would have been nice. After a huge breakfast we departed in the rain.
We took advantage of the East Yorkshire location and spent the morning looking round Beverley Minster and St Mary's church in Beverley. The church is an absolute joy.
We called in on friends on the way home. They ordered better weather and fed us scones and tea in their garden.
