Sophie Twigs On

Sophie found this broken bit of tree in the park this afternoon and came up with the game of throwing it as high as she could and trying to catch it; her success rate may not have been high but she had fun.

Earlier we'd been to Rhyme Time where about 20 toddlers and attendant mums, grandmas, grandad and nursery teachers were crammed into a small room in the new library, making the accompanying movements to the singing something of a health and safety hazard, then on to the outdoor pool where, by way of contrast, we had the children's pool to ourselves.

Thankfully, Sophie seems to be as worn out as we are and is sound asleep.
