Increasingly Attractive

The unfinished pond 2 of the Kranichwoog seems to become increasingly attractive to storks. Two weeks ago today I counted 3 storks, today I count 13 and that's only the ones I can see on the hill from the distance.

I wonder what's so interesting on this hill. 350 meters to the left there is the finished pond 1 filled with water and with an island in it's center which is slowly turning green, now that grass and plants start to grow. It would make such a better background for a stork blip.
