Midsummer

It is nearly the longest day of the year and nature shows its abundance. It is dry and sunny every day, with lots of wind in the afternoons, which is common here on the coast as 60 miles inland on most hot days a hot air low builds up and that attracts the cold air above the ocean surface. Yesterday the wind was so strong that a tree fell over and caused a power outage of nearly an hour. We have been using the nice times of the days to clean up the yard and organize for the party that we will be having this Friday.
We invited tons of people, friends and future friends.  First day of summer  in our beautiful "new" home. The promised bonfire may not take place though because of the winds, but we'll see.

I wish all of you a wonderful summer solstice and a great summer afterwards.
