Breakfast Al Fresco

At Last - a sunny morning to enjoy our new table and chairs on the decking:-)

TJ is back in the garden cutting the meadow lawns and has already filled both brown bins and several black sacks and taken the sacks to the Amenity Tip.  Another trip will be needed when he is finished!  Please let it stop raining so the grass won't grow so long!

We had our new TV fitted to the wall yesterday by those very nice men from John Lewis, who also took away the large box and all the packaging.  The last thing the fitter said to us was to be sure to register the product for the manufacturer's guarantee as it made life a lot simpler if it was needed.  

The only snag was, according to the paperwork, you needed both the model and serial numbers.  The model number was on the receipt, but the serial number - you've guessed it - was on a label on the back of the TV:-). It was probably on the box as well, but of course that had gone.

With great difficulty, we managed to take the TV off the wall brackets and note the serial number and then struggled to put it back on the wall safely.  I then phoned the number given (no online registration possible) and discovered that, actually, they only wanted the model number and my details!!!  Still deciding wether to tell TJ or keep him in blissful ignorance:-)
