Wide Wednesday - Lake

We had a bitterly cold morning, 2c when I first stepped out on the walk brrrr!!! Walked for half an hour and felt lovely and warm and by the time I got back to the lake the sun had shown up and the bit of fog hanging over the lake was lifting. Mono suited the wintery day.

The image is of the little island in the middle of the local lake with paperbark trees taking up most of the room. A few ibis are starting to move back in to those trees as breeding time approaches - party time I should say!! :o)
