Tripod Fun

Finally got round to buying a tripod; every winter I say I will get one and it never happens. Today it did.

Of course the natural place to try it out was down at the harbour. Practised at home putting it up and down so I didn't look a total fool outside. Remarkably easy.

It was a bit windy and some shots were a bit of a blur, due to my too long exposure and not quite knowing what I was doing. Practise makes perfect. This shot was taken before it got totally dark , I like seeing the smooth water.
