Swarm

A morning walk with callie and company through the woods.

Work attended.

Late leaving got a lift from a colleague.

Tidied up and made sugar syrup and headed to bees to feed a split hive.

Walked around hives looking up for swarms as you do at this time of year. Walked up and down from car taking the stuff I needed and sfter 3 trips noticed these bees at knee height.

Change of plan got everything organised and placed the sheet and skep under the swarm and put some water on them. Proceeded to brush the bees with my hand into skep. All in skep put into a hive.

Then fed the hives and home.
