The Avenues

Not you your usual shot of The Avenues, which is the largest shopping mall in the Middle East. My 15-16 year olds had to write about their favourite shop using quantifiers. Drawing and colouring makes it a bit more fun, especially as it’s school holidays here. Proud of them.

Another early finish so I swam tonight at about 830pm. But too many noisy children, unlike at 11pm. That was a positive about the split shift in Ramadan. A light snack followed and a laugh with the (Egyptian) waiters). One of them explained to the other that he speaks Arabic to me because he knows I lived in Egypt. The other then asked me something, half of which I understood.. so now I know a bit more! Slow progress.

Hot again, but only mid, not high 40’s.
