I attempted to make Nigel Slater's Marzipan Berry Cakes after work today.

After adapting the ingredients to suit my sensitive tummy I was actually sort of pleased with the result for once. I say sort of as I thought I knew best and trusted them not to stick in my silicon muffin trays. They stuck!

But, the main thing is that otherwise the recipe worked so I'll definitely be making them again :)

These are a few of the less damaged ones as I followed the instructions correctly using greaseproof paper in a normal bun tin!

In Stella news, Mr Christmas Tree is still squeaking, purple bauble toy is not!
