Last train home
Tonight I went to the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to see Requiem For The Earth, written and partly performed by the legendary Andalucian Flamenco artiste Paco Pena. It was absolutely fantastic, using 2 choirs, 4 flamenco guitarrists, 4 Flamenco singers, a drummer, 2 operatic soloists and a male flamenco dancer to lament how we are killing Mother Earth and to plead with us to mend our ways, renounce greed and destruction, and learn to respect Nature and live in peace with our fellow man. I agree with those sentiments wholeheartedly, although with just a little reservation toward the woman in the next seat, who whacked me in the face with her coat and jabbed me with her elbow all the way through....
Couldn't get any pics in the Hall, so made do with this one of the station near my home once I got back.
