Negative Space

I read an article about negative space and how it is used and revered in Japan in both art and life (including conversation), giving the opportunity to think and consider everything.
The space in art doesn't have to be completely empty - but it does have to work with the subject.
I thought I would make a conscious effort to do this today so I have deliberately left some form of detail or light in the shots I took.
