Heavens Gate

It’s been a grey wet day in Skye.

Whilst driving down a single track road to Elgol we came across an abandoned church ruin with a graveyard.

Those of you familiar with single track roads will know they have regular passing places. The sign looked to be appropriate for the graveyard as well.

Keeping up the theme of spirts. The extra comes from the Talisker Distillery. The barrel laid down in 1979 (5021) will have its contents bottled later this year. My quick maths estimates an income of around £15million for this 40 year aged whisky.
