CIZ

CIZ stands for clear image zoom. The Sony RX10 mark iv has this and I gave it a go when I was at the River Gwash ospreys yesterday. I have to say 'bloomin heck!' What a zoom! This camera normally zooms to 600mm, the CIZ makes it zoom to 1200mm equiv. That's like a built in extender or a built in crop when you edit your photo. I was a bit sceptical that detail could be retained... but, the red kite from yesterday and this osprey were taken with my camera in CIZ mode... quite good I think :)
