Youngster

Spotted from the bedroom window this morning was this young blackbird just sitting in the grass on the back lawn.
Slightly alarming as not only do we have a cat but we are surrounded by them!
I shot downstairs to get my camera and telephoto lens noting that the cat was asleep in the conservatory.

Taking shots from inside I saw he’d started to move. He hopped over to the area under the feeders to get pick up a few discarded seeds. Another couple of shots and he was off, much to my relief.

Chris had a hair appt in Guiseley today, his hairdresser retired years ago so he goes to his house so I walked into town and did a bit of shopping then had a a coffee in Costa.
Chris is cutting the grass now,so the garden is looking less like a jungle after last weeks rain.
I’ve been finishing off the washing and ironing from last week and the weekend and generally catching up.
