Travel Day

The start of a big adventure for me, travelling to the Carpathian Mountains in Romania as an Assistant Leader for Wildlife Travel. This is the view as we approached Bucharest airport - flat plains with arable strips but also with wetlands, uncultivated areas, extensive forests and solar farms. After setting off just after 6 am we arrived at our accommodation in Magura in time for a late dinner - a very long day!
