Buried underground cross country pipelines come to, and leave from, the refinery and chemical plant complex on the horizon.

“Orange hat with a white stick” - the aerial markers show pipeline inspectors the pipeline route from survey helicopters or on the ground. Markers are typically located at road, rail, and navigable waterways etc.

We spent the earlier part of the afternoon oot n aboot, walking and talking at the lochside. It was warmer than of late. The outing was good for me.
