Merry Christmas everyone :)

As someone who is engaging less and less in Christmas these days, at least at a commercial level, I enjoyed the simplicity of my day.
Lovely drive over to Golden Bay but instead of heading through Takaka and turning left towards Pakawau, I headed right through Pohara and on to the end of the road at Totaranui where friends are staying.

Sweltering day which topped 30 degrees again (10am it was 33 degrees outside my back door!)

Stopped off at M & J's to say hi and wish them a Merry Christmas. Took a few photos of their family who were missing only B who is living in London at the moment.

On the beach at Totaranui it was great to see people relaxed and enjoying the fantastic summer weather. Sunbathing, walking, swimming, boating, kite-flying . . . . something for everyone. Simple and so enjoyable.
