Murder at the Savoy

The Grill Room, Savoy Hotel, Malmö (another old picture, from a year ago today). This room still looks exactly as described in Per Wahlöö and Maj Sjöwall’s “Murder at the Savoy,” one of the classic Martin Beck novels they published in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The only new development is a mounted poster (see lefthand wall) honoring the book itself. If you haven’t read the series, you are missing something great — check it out!
