Warwick - day 3

Lovely cooked breakfast to start the day - well it is Sunday and it is Fathers Day.

Off to Charlecote Park, another NT property. This one has been part of their collection since 1945. The house has been preserved and restored over the years. The family still live in the south wing. A pretty house with lots of history (Shakespeare, Cromwell, Queen Elizabeth I stayed there also).

After a spot of lunch decided to go onto the next home - Coughton Court, unfortunately all the timed tickets for the house had gone by the time we arrived so we didn’t stop. Went on to have a look at Kinwarton Dovecote (literally, sat in the car as it’s in the middle of a field with nothing around - see extra).

Decided to take a stop off at Stratford+upon-Avon, quick coffee and then a walk around the town (great market) and then down to the river - more in extras).

Homeward bound tomorrow, may stop off somewhere en route :)
