Celebrating

It started off as a charity cricket match - similar to many that have gone before.

But at the cricket clubs suggestion, we invited friends and family along, and a BBQ, and turned it into a 50th birthday gathering for Elbows.

The torrential rain led to the cricket match being cancelled but actually, as people arrived, the skies cleared to blue.

So ‘garden games’ and plenty of food and so many friends; some even from 47 years ago and some more recent and some new friends too, plus Elbows family and all our lot so all went well and was well.

Grateful for many helping hands too.
