Buttes-Chaumont

One of the arrondissements in Paris that I don't know very well at all is the 19th. Because it was a nice day today, we decided to walk there to visit the Parc des Buttes Chaumont. It took about an hour. We went through crowds on the Ile de la cité, then a huge demonstration at Place de la République and crowded streets through Belleville... the park was also pretty packed when we got there but it was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing it. We came back on the 75 bus - enough walking! - see the extra for a father's day photo of J and Ch.
