Postcard from my dad to Miss G. Newall when he was working as a teacher in Felixstowe.

They married August 1967.

I always remember my mum thinking Wagner was a terrific din, but did they actually go, was this a date? Sadly no one to ask, but I'm saying they did. I mean, tea as well....who could resist?

He'd have been 31, she was 24. A different age.
