Had a mini blip meet today with Valerie12 and Dotty3 who wanted to explore the Solway estuary.  I met them at Bowness, they were sat on a rock in the sunshine having lunch when I arrived!  The tide was right in so Misty stood in the water and watched us have a chat.  We then moved on to Port Carlisle and I showed them the old station platform which has been left to nature and covered in wild flowers.  We then walked on the marsh by the old harbour and as the tide was going out there were plenty of Herons and Egrits fishing.  Lots and lots of chatting and taking photos.  Then the rain arrived!  What a great blip meet :)
