The Angel

Travelled to Newcastle later than planned,  after dragging ourselves from a 70th birthday party. It was not quite dark when I managed to choose the road that goes past the Angel and was able to stop, having past this countless times on the A1. Newcastle was its normal drunken noisy vibrant self. Quick river walk from the hotel took us over the Millennium Bridge provides a great view up the Tyne ( extra)
