Adventure porn

If there’s one thing this shocking weather is good for, it’s ploughing through the book pile.

As well as this book, I’ve also read a book about a woman who ran all over the world, a woman who walked the SW Coastal Path and a bunch of riders who took on the Tour de France peaks. One of these days I’m going to have to stop reading about other people’s adventures and actually go on one of my own.

Dinner tonight with some of the neighbours. A lovely evening out, somewhat spoiled at the end when we had to advise the bar staff to stop serving a couple of women who were drunk in charge of a child.
