A long walk!!

Enjoying Father’s Day.

R came over this morning. We drove into the edge of town, parked up and took Amber for a long walk along the Fossdyke. This looks very quiet, but we met many people walking, some running and many more cycling!!! The path isn’t very wide but we manage passing without any accidents.

We then headed for the cycle shop coffee shop at Doddington Hall, for suitable refreshments.

We managed to avoid rain until we got home when it absolutely tipped down!!!! It had alternated rain / blue skies for the rest of the day.

We have the Romans to thank for this waterway......see extra!!!
