Dartmoor Foals

It really has been more like November today and Im sitting here with the heating on !
There was a glimmer of sun as we set off to Dartmoor this morning but that was soon replaced by driving rain and low visibility.
The poor newborn foals are having a very rough introduction to the world.
We found a herd with half a dozen foals, sheltering around a few old hawthorn trees.
I've created a composite with a couple of images just for amusement and to stop my mind from straying to chocolate because the weather is so miserable
