3 bums are better then 1

Girls received a tent off santa, funny as they are all extremely girly girls.they all wanted to sleep in it after the christmas celebration there was no time to set it up with back to back parties on christmas day and after returning home late we were all exhausted.

Last night we gave in and set in up. We dug out our sleeping bags for them to use, from when Ben and I were kids Maddie was a bit horrified about sleeping on the ground on just a mat, Ben indulged her and carried down our queen size bed and put it in the tent. It was so funny to see a tent with a massive comfy mattress in it, this was camping in style, lucky we were only camping out in front of the house. I must admit it was nice and cosy, but surely this could not pass as camping. What will they think when they really do go camping.

Now I was under no illusion that we would actually get any sleep. Girls were over excited and were jumping all around the tent, asking about every sound that they heard outside. After a few hours reality set in and Maddie was getting a bit anxious and worried that someone would pinch her during the night and how would we keep out the badies when there was no locks. We had to hold her hand until she fell asleep.

Interesting night girls ended up on top of me and I was squashed in the corner, Ben was on the mat. Hmmm I think I will wait to take them camping for real.
